hourglass radiant magenta ambient lighting blush

The first time I used the new Hourglass Ambient Lighting blush in Radiant Magenta ($35) I was a little heavy handed, even with a stippling brush. I was able to easily blend it down with a little Ambient Lighting powder though. The next day, I was going for more of a quick "no makeup makeup" style. I used a fan brush and quickly dusted in on at the last minute, and it instantly gave my whole complexion a healthy wide awake glow. This was around 8am on Saturday morning and I was absolutely not wide awake or happy. It really looked like the powder melted into my skin. This blush does exactly what makeup should do - enhance.

Every now and then something new comes out that is able to live up to (and even surpass) expectations, and Hourglass did it with this one. This blush is everything I look for, smooth, soft, pigmented and blendable. Sephora's website describes it as "a golden fuchsia blush combined with Radiant Light for a summer glow", which is surprisingly accurate. I was able to get my hands on one of these during the early access Sephora VIB preview, according to their website they will be available in stores on 2/21/14. I restrained myself to just one this time, but when they come out in stores it will be very difficult to resist buying more!
