maybelline winter 2013 color tattoos in matte brown, nude pink, just beige
The new Limited Edition Maybelline Color Tattoo's are probably the most excited I have been about a makeup collection in a while! High quality, pigmented, creamy, long lasting, affordable, these are about as perfect as a cream eye shadow gets. They are very versatile as well, easily working on their own, as a base for powder shadow, or as a liner.
Just Beige is an excellent light color base to bring out the color of powder shadow. The key to using them as a base is to work on only one eye at a time because they dry quickly.
Nude Pink is exactly as the name describes, a light mauve flesh toned pink. I love it as a base for both powder and cream shadows. It helps other darker cream shadows blend better. I could see this as a perfect everyday shadow for very fair people.
Matte Brown is a great everyday all over color, quick and easy. Also great blended into the crease with Nude pink on the lid.
Although they are long lasting, I do usually use a primer still. My lids are relatively oily and while they don't crease, the edges will start to fade and get a little patchy after around 8 - 10 hours.
Here are two quick looks to show how easy these are to use. Both are using finger to apply and Milani Eye Tech liner to tightline.
