bareminerals ready eyeshadow 8.0 in the power neutrals

The Ready Eyeshadow 8.0 in The Power Neutrals ($40) is finally the 8.0 palette I've been waiting for from bareMinerals. Previous 8.0 palettes have been amazing also but overall too shimmery or had too many shades I wouldn't use. This is an amazing neutral palette with a fresh kick of green and gold. The left side leans cool toned, and the right side leans warm toned. The mirroring shades seem to be opposite versions of each other that also compliment each other. Here are the descriptions from their website:

Boss Lady (shimmer bronze)
Moneymaker (dusty olive)
Schmooze (bronze sheen)
Boardroom (deep chocolate)
Exec (polished slate)
Payday (light granite)
Magnate (nude peach)
Get Ahead (rustic taupe)

I would call Boss Lady more of a cream shimmer. Moneymaker and Schmooze were calling my name, love olive green and gold together. Boardroom is not as dark as it may appear but is a nice warm chocolate. Exec is a shimmery cool taupe. Payday is a cool cream, and Magnate is a warm cream. Get Ahead is a matte warm taupe.

The gold packaging will be covered in fingerprints very quickly, but the size of the 8.0 palettes is great for travel especially considering how many colors you are getting. I also appreciate the large mirror on the lid. Swatches below are without any primer, and were effortless to apply. The quality of these shadows is the creamy perfection that we have all come to expect from bareMinerals.

If you are a neutral junkie like me, this will be difficult to resist.

Also, just a head's up, I was very interested in getting the READY Color Boost in The Adrenaline Rush from this collection, which has a highlighter, blush, and bronzer that can be worn separately or together. When I swatched it at the store though, the colors were all very light. The employees even agreed with me that this is really mostly appropriate for fair skinned people.
